The Obama girls Malia and Sasha have received their swine flu shots so they will safe during this H1N1 pandemic. I for one am happy that the First Girls are now inoculated against the flu virus which thus far has racked up over 1000 deaths in America.
The H1N1 vaccine has caused much controversy in the news with advocacy groups from autistic children to health care workers railing against forced vaccinations as proposed by a select few believers in the benefits of this new vaccine which was rushed to market offering little protection to consumers and blanket immunity to the drug manufacturers.
Is that scary to you that these medical companies face no legal responsibility for whatever this vaccine does? Did you know that the H1N1 vaccine contains Thimerosal? This is alarming news to parents who are leery of using heavy metals in their child's vaccines.
My kids are not vaccinated and they never will be. We'll take our chances with the virus and not risk the use of Thimerosal laced vaccines.
"The daughters of US President Barack Obama, Malia and Sasha, have received their swine flu vaccinations, a White House spokeswoman said.
The First Daughters were given their A(H1N1) shots last week by the White House physician, Katie McCormick Lelyveld, a spokeswoman for first lady Michelle Obama, said on the White House blog.
Malia, 11, and Sasha, eight, were inoculated against A(H1N1) after the vaccine became available to school-age children across the nation's capital of Washington and surrounding areas.
The girls also have been vaccinated against seasonal flu, the White House said.
President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have not yet received their swine flu vaccinations, but have received their seasonal flu shots, according to Lelyveld."
